The Freihaus was built in 1976 according to plans by architects Alexander Marchart and Roland Moebius and consists of a building complex with three towers (interiors are marked in red, yellow, and green).
Most of the lecture halls where the courses for the Bachelor’s program in Geodesy and Geoinformation take place are located on the 2nd floor in the yellow area of the Freihaus building.
"Fachschaft"
The Geodesy and Geoinformation Student Council (student representation “Fachschaft”) is also located on the second floor of the Freihaus (red area).
Due to the small number of students, almost everyone knows each other and people enjoy meeting up in the Student Council between classes. This makes the Student Council a place where you can get advice and support.

The student council has (study) tables, a comfortable sofa, a coffee machine, a microwave, a toaster, and even an air fryer. Passed exams can be celebrated there with a beer or two, but also with non-alcoholic beverages.
