1.
Application for admission
The admission procedure depends on where you did your bachelor’s degree (consecutive, at TU Wien, or at another Austrian or international university/university of applied sciences). Please visit the official TU Wien website for detailed information and necessary steps:.
a) First your submitted documents will be verified by the Admission Office.
Please note: The Department of Geodesy and Geoinformation is not authorized to assess the eligibility of application documents. This process is handled exclusively by the Admissions Office of TU Wien.
b) Then the Dean of Academic Affairs will check, if your bachelor’s degree is equivalent to the bachelor’s degree of TU Wien by reviewing your academic background.
If differences in subject matter are identified, admission will be granted with conditions (= additional courses from the bachelor’s programme), which must be completed as supplementary examinations (up to 30 ECTS) during the master’s programme.
For clarifying open questions, the Dean of Academic Affairs may contact you for a short online interview (10 minutes).
c) You will be notified via post, weather your application was successful or not.
